What individual therapy with me looks like

Individual therapy is a place to slow down and actually look at what is going on, not just manage it. As an individual therapist in Chicago and across Illinois, I work with adults who are navigating real challenges: anxiety that won't quit, ADHD that makes daily life harder than it should be, depression, career pressure, major transitions, and more.

My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which means we focus on what matters to you and build from there, rather than just managing symptoms. Sessions feel like a real conversation. I'm warm, but I won't dance around the hard stuff. Most of the time you'll be talking and I'll be listening closely, asking the questions that help you see your situation more clearly.

All sessions are conducted via telehealth, so online individual therapy in Illinois is available to you wherever you are in the state. You don't need to commute to Chicago. Just a private space and a reliable connection.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you offer in-person therapy in Chicago?
All sessions are conducted via telehealth. This means you can access individual therapy from anywhere in Illinois, whether you are in Chicago, the suburbs, or elsewhere in the state. All you need is a private space and a reliable internet connection.
Can I see a therapist online if I live outside Chicago?
Yes. Because all sessions are online, individual therapy is available to anyone in Illinois, not just Chicago. Telehealth removes the geographic barrier and makes it easier to access consistent, quality care wherever you are.
What does individual therapy cost in Illinois?
Individual therapy sessions are $150 out of pocket. Caleb is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, so BCBS PPO clients pay their standard copay instead. Other insurance plans may still cover a portion through out-of-network benefits. See the full fees and insurance page for details, or schedule a free consultation to talk through your options.
How do I get started with individual therapy?
The easiest way is to schedule a free 30-minute consultation . We will talk about what you are looking for, I will answer any questions you have, and we will figure out together whether individual therapy is the right fit.
What therapeutic approach do you use?
My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a research-backed approach that helps people clarify their values and build a life around what actually matters to them. Sessions feel conversational rather than clinical: warm and direct, with room to go wherever the work needs to go.
